Started golfing a bit late in life (in my mid thirties), more seriously in my mid forties. Calgary native. Work downtown in the Oil Industry. Also work part time for a major golf retailer. In April concluded a series of lessons at Golftec South location, working with Ken Brown. Very pleased with my take aways from this experience as I expect to be a more consistent ball striker. Hoped to improve what was about a 14.5 index to around 11 or 12 this year. Despite some positive signs, have slid backwards due to lack of consistent practice. Trying to mend my ways with some recent results. Original pass holder at Mckenzie Meadows. My Wife, Pat, also plays. Have traveled with my golf clubs along with the guys or with my Wife. Favorite golf destination (so far) has been the Palm Springs area.

  Probably our last local game of the year (?). No joy in mudville on the scorecard. Concluded that I am one of those guys who must hit balls once every 3 days to maintain some kind of rhythm, tempo and sense of feel.
