  Lost first ball hole 9 bad sliced tee shot into pond.
  Second ball at hole 13 again ob and third ball hole 14 2nd sliced into hazard.
  Too many three putts and even one four putt at 3rd after good two on.

• ivan sim scored 42 on 9 holes at The Sarawak Club Golf Resort.

  After steady rain slowed to drizzle took the slow drive to Samarahan to try if can walk.
  Seems like can go 18 if start early.
  Good drives first few holes but 2 bad slices at 6th and 8th.
  Course and greens superb.

  Played 2 balls only with JKF started around 10 hardly anyone on course, saw one flight in front only.
  Good first 9, won match, dormie and buy with a 42
  Closer 2nd 9, messed up 13 after sliced OB, made 8 and next hole lost another ball after hooked approach but saved bogey - fight till last hole all square. Made 50 to cover buggy and water costs.
